Overview

Billingham Grange provides treatment and care for individuals experiencing enduring mental health illness and behaviour that may challenge. It is a 50-bedded Independent Hospital with three age and gender-specific wards.

Billingham Grange providers treatment and care under the provision of the Mental Health Act, DoLS, or as an Informal Patient. Patients treatment and care pathways are formulated, delivered and reviewed by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team supported by our resident Mental Health Act Administrator. Our multidisciplinary team works in collaboration with patients, families and community agencies to develop effective treatment programmes for improving quality of life and maximising independence.

We would like to help reduce the growing pressures on NHS acute and low secure services: we currently have both male and female adult beds available. For a wider conversation around capacity planning, or how we can support you and your patients at this current time, please contact Stella Bolger (Regional Director, Hospital Services) at stella.bolger@barchester.com or stella.bolger@nhs.net. You can also call her on 07741 899427.

Testimonials

In the time my relative has spent at the hospital I feel that his care has been outstanding, he is in a safe environment that is well led. He has many problems which the staff understand and they help put him at ease, he gets on well with them and they make us feel very welcome when visiting. Until his placement here he has been moved around and was very unsettled and vulnerable. Knowing he is in a safe place helps put our minds at rest. Keep up the good work.
