Barchester Healthcare supports adults of all ages and provides different types of care across the UK. Our specialist services include mental health hospitals, care for people with learning disabilities, residential care, complex dementia nursing care and neurological and rehabilitation care services.
These services are commissioned and funded by the NHS and by local authority adult services and in many areas we are part of standard NHS continuing healthcare frameworks for the agreed procurement of our services. The aim of our adult services is to work collaboratively with the local health and social care community in order to deliver outcome-focused, responsive and innovative care and support models that effectively deliver person-centred quality care that is value for money and meets the needs of the local population.
We have a number of collaborative relationships and partnerships with NHS provider trusts and have worked co-productively with social care commissioners to pilot and develop alternatives to hospital care models. Details of this work can be found in the collaborations section of our site.
We believe every one of the individuals we support deserves dignity, choice and independence. We help the people we support keep up community links and welcome those visits from family and friends that can be so important.
We constantly strive to provide a consistent and high-quality service. We do this through our staff. We recruit motivated and compassionate people, then develop, manage and invest heavily in their training so that they not only do an excellent job but love their jobs, too. This makes happier services for the people we support.
We’re here to help in any way we can – so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
